Little Bluestem

Schizachyrium scoparium ‘Blaze’

Still growing and not available yet, but check back soon!

Nice looking bunchgrass in the 2-3 foot range. Little bluestem is an excellent grass for meadows and is a good companion to flowering plants and shrubs. Has an almost flame-like appearance in the fall as it goes to seed. Will tolerate clay soil, but grows best in lean, dry, well-drained soils.
