These showy pink and purple flowers are adored by native bees and bumble bees. These flowers are followed by edible rose hips for birds and people. Spreads through rhizomes, especially when it receives ample water. Commonly found in riparian areas, but is drought-tolerant once established. Deer resistant. Fabulous habitat plant. Easy to grow. Hardy to zone 4.
