Enjoy watching these delightful birds hunt and build their families. Support a delightful cavity-nesting species that frequently has a hard time finding tree cavities to nest in these days. Handmade of cedar, which is rot-resistant, at the nursery according to specifications from the American Bluebird Society. Western Bluebirds appreciate a nesting box located in an open or semi-open area, not one that is fully wooded. Can be installed any time of year, but early spring/late winter is a great time as bluebirds are looking for places to nest and start their first clutch of the year. Requires occasional maintenance and cleaning to protect bird health. Comes with installation and maintenance instructions.
