Colorado Blue Columbine

$7.00

Aquilegia coerulea

Also known as Rocky Mountain columbine, this iconic mountain wildflower will grow best at higher elevations (such as 7000 feet and up) in part shade. If growing at a lower elevation it will appreciate moist soils and either full shade or afternoon shade. Rate of growth is slow to moderate, but its delicate foliage and showy blue and white flowers are worth the wait. Attracts hummingbirds, butterflies, and moths.
