All goldenrods are keystone species that attract and support many pollinators. Late goldenrod is tall (up to 7ft.). Its pretty, golden, pollen-rich flowers bloom in the fall, benefiting many pollinators late in the season as other plants move towards dormancy. A low maintenance plant that works well in moist areas and can tolerate some dryness in partial shade conditions.
