Also known as prairie sagewort, this is a low, spreading, semi-evergreen shrub. Beautiful, silvery, grey/green foliage is soft and aromatic. Yellow flower spikes attract native bees. Extremely drought-tolerant. Good groundcover or rock garden plant. May spread through rhizomes. Hardy to zone 3.
