Junegrass (Prairie Junegrass)

$7.00

Koeleria macrantha

Junegrass is a cool-season bunchgrass that flowers earlier than many other native grasses. Its plumes of silvery-green seed heads change by mid-summer when they become more neutral in color. This grass provides great forage and habitat for a range of insects and wildlife. Does not spread or compete with garden companions. Can handle heat, but junegrass is at its best in cooler sites.
