Black-eyed Susans are known for being easy to grow. Bright, cheerful, yellow blooms attract butterflies and moths. This short-lived perennial is perfect for a new habitat planting because they grow quickly and frequently bloom the first year while other plants are getting established. Then they fade out and allow space for the longer lived plants to fill in. Self seeds and will pop up in other places in the garden.
